Venus Express in orbit

The European Space Agency’s Venus Express probe went into orbit.

After a 400 million kilometre trip, Venus Express slowed down and locked into Venus’s gravitational field at 10:08 Central European Summer Time on 11 April, said controllers at the European Space Agency’s Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany.
