Amateur Radio on the ISS (ARISS)

1 January 2011

Throughout 2011, the Amateur Radio on the ISS (ARISS) programme has continued to inspire students worldwide to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through amateur radio contacts with the on-orbit crew of the ISS. The programme is maintained by a dedicated group of international amateur radio operators who have helped millions of people from around the world interact with astronauts and cosmonauts.
