Earth Observation: Solutions for Decision-Making
27 May 2008Earth Observation: Solutions for Decision-Making was a two-day conference held between 27-28 May 2008. It was organised by the Deutsches Zentrum fuer Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) and the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI), along with their cooperating partners, the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), ESA and EURISY.
The specific demands for Earth Observation products and the challenges ahead were explored during the conference by representatives from public authorities, private sector companies and international organisations. Existing solutions ranging from the space technology to data products were discussed in the light of the future needs by international decision-makers and governmental authorities.
