 | GSLV-FO6 mission to take off on December 25
23 December 2010
The postponed ISRO geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle (GSLV-FO6) mission, to
place India’s advanced and heaviest communication satellite GSAT-5P in orbit, has
now been scheduled for 1601 hours on December 25.
The launch, earlier scheduled for December 20, was deferred after a leak was noticed
during pre-countdown tests in one of the valves of the cryogenic engine supplied by
Russia.
