Indian GSLV launch with GSAT-14 communications satellite scrubbed

19 August 2013

India was set to conduct its fortieth satellite launch Monday, with a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle attempting to end a run of four consecutive launch failures by deploying the GSAT-14 communications satellite. However, the launch – from the Second Launch Pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre – was scrubbed shortly before its 11:20 UTC target for technical reasons.
