The registration price covers attendance to the three day ReInventing Space 2014 conference, the exhibition, all lunches, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, a Friday visit to the City of London and the Tuesday reception event.
Revenue from the conference contributes to the mission of the British Interplanetary Society - initiating, promoting and disseminating new concepts and technical information about space flight and astronautics through meetings, symposia, publications, visits, conferences and exhibitions. In turn, revenue from the portion of the venue hire of the Royal Society contributes to its own fundamental purpose, reflected in its founding Charters of the 1660s, is to recognise, promote, and support excellence in science and to encourage the development and use of science for the benefit of humanity.
Please note that the delegate charges shown below reflect the final price to delegates, before currency conversion charges. UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% is included in the registration fee. VAT-registered entities within the European Union and non-EU taxpayers alike can reclaim the VAT portion of the charge. We will issue a tax note for this purpose as payment is made.
Please note that VAT is shown alongside the total price.
To ensure secure payment, processing is hosted on our British Interplanetary Society website and then credit card details collected securely by WorldPay. If you have a question regarding the registration process, please send an email.

We have calculated the registration fee for ReInventing Space to offer great value for money and is lower than the 2013 conference rate. UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20% is shown separately within the delegate price.
Once your payment is made, your issued invoice is also a VAT receipt.
If you are not domiciled within the European Union (EU), Reinventing Space 2014 is categorised as a 'trade fair' and certain categories of attendees may reclaim the VAT portion of the conference cost (along with accommodation and travel costs). For further information, please visit the official UK tax office web page at www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/managing/international/nonEU-visits.htm.
If you are domiciled within the EU but not the UK, certain categories of attendee may also reclaim VAT. The official UK tax rules are specified here: www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/managing/international/EU-visits.htm.
If you or your organisation are VAT registered within the UK, your normal VAT procedures apply.
Please note that Reinventing Space 2014 must apply VAT under UK law but cannot become involved, outside the issue of the tax receipt, in further issues involving VAT rebates.
